At Kahurangi, we pride ourselves on the ability to provide innovative catering solutions of exceptional quality, no matter the size or nature of your function or event.

Our menus are carefully crafted to offer maximum flexibility, giving you the option to choose either a pre-set menu or create your own. We can also create bespoke menus on request.

It’s important to consider the recommended minimums when placing your order. These minimums, advised by our skilled chefs, ensure that you receive ample catering for your number of guests while also minimizing waste and promoting sustainability.

Place a Order

To place an order, simply email kahurangi@montanagroup.co.nz or submit an enquiry using the Contact form.

When placing an order, we will need the following information:

  • Date and name of function/event

  • Number of attendees

  • Delivery locations i.e., physical address, campus, building number, room number

  • Time you would like your catering delivered, access time, time of service, function end time

  • Any specific delivery instructions e.g., access, where crockery needs to be delivered

  • Your food menu selection including dietary requirements

  • Service style for your catering e.g., buffet, tray served, plated meal or drop-off only

  • Please specify your budget per guest

  • Your beverage menu selection, including your preferred service style e.g., bar only, tray service or table-side service

  • Contact name and phone number on the day of your event

  • Person to whom sending the invoice and/or Unimarket quote

  • For larger events, we will request a floorplan and run sheet from you

FAQs

  • Ideally, orders are placed at least four days before your event.

    We will endeavour to always ensure the supply of your catering needs, but please note due to booking staff and food ordering, we may not always be able to accommodate last minute requests.

    Should you place an order with us within 2 working days of the function, please be aware that an additional 10% surcharge will be applicable on top of the quoted menu.

  • It can depend on what type of event you have and even the time of day. Our chefs have provided some recommended minimums to use as a guideline. If you are unsure, our experienced team will be able to guide you.
